An overall good album August 9, 2007 As with other reviews, I concur that this CD is not like Selah. It has a more contemporary/rock feel to it. For those who like Todd's voice and would like to hear something with a new sound, this is the album for you. The lyrics are powerful and the vocals strong. I recommend especially for track #6 which I can't stop listening to.
Good solo effort November 9, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This CD has Todd's signature on it. His style is more aggressive than you'll hear on a Selah CD. However, I believe that with Selah both he and Nicole Sponberg are better.
A Must Have! April 18, 2006 Great voice - absolutely amazing. The songs really speak to you. This is a must have. Each song is great - never have to use the skip button on this one.
Excellent! April 18, 2006 I heard one song by Todd Smith and really liked it. I decided to sample the CD and it sounded good so I bought it. It turned out to be great! I never write reviews but I am so impressed I decided to spread the word. It is sincere, insightful and addresses very real issues we all face today. This CD is fantastic and I feel so blessed to have stumbled across it.
wish I would have listened to the previews! March 13, 2006 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
I wouldn't say that this is a bad album. However, it is NOTHING like SELAH music. I LOVE the Selah CD's, but this is more rock/contemporary Christian music . . . and I'm not a fan of ANYTHING in that genre. I was hoping for typical Selah fare . . . and this ain't it! (For those of you who have never been to one of Selah's concerts, it is a GREAT concert!)
