Powerful, moving, utterly beautiful September 26, 2002 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Previous reviews have exhausted the adjectives I might choose to recommend this wonderful CD, but I play this and Selah's other release (Press On) almost constantly. I never grow tired of either one. I recently attended a concert, and it was truly a worship experience. I encourage everyone to purchase these amazing CD's. They will enrich your life. Nicol's voice is so husky and beautiful, that's the voice I want when I get to heaven!
Selah's best work.... June 17, 2002 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This was my second purchase of a Selah CD. The first, "Press On" so impressed me that I just had to buy "Be Still My Soul".This CD is filled with great renditions of soem of my favorite Gospel Hymns with a couple of other tunes thrown in to balance the disc. The vocal skills demonstrated in this disc will touch your heart, especially when you listen closely to the lyrics. My personal favorite tune from this disc is "One Thing I Know".
Wow! March 11, 2002 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is one of my very favorite CDs. Words cannot express its awesomeness. Its combination of great voices and great piano music is comforting, soothing, and uplifting. It's impossible for me to pick a favorite song from this album, as each of them is beautiful in its own way. I think that everyone should listen to this CD at least once in his life.
Friend from Zaire July 16, 2001 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Although, I grew up with Nicol and Todd in former Zaire, they become my favorite music group without me having a clue who they were. A friend brought a copy of "Be Still My Soul" to Bangladesh. Even though we had a wide selection of Christian music with us, their album became our favorite, hands down. The music was inspiring, spiritual, heartfelt. It wasn't until returning to the states and putting the copied CD into my lap top that I was suprised to see their pictures come up as the computer queried the database of artist. Great Job Todd and Nicol.
Awesome co-producer June 19, 2001 The co-producer of this album Jason Kyle did a truley outstanding job.
